DATA VISUALISATION MANIFESTO
Meaningful is data visualisation manifesto that is inspired by Giorgia Lupi’s Data Humanism and Manuel Lima’s Information Visualisation Manifesto. Responding to the opportunity for Data Visualisations to be more meaningful, I have compiled a list of 10 actions. To explore this notion I collected data about my process and practice. Taking the time to complete each of the actions within my manifesto in order to create its own unique data visualisation. This is presented as a wire—bound booklet and printed on clear acetate to allow the audience to see the multiple layers of data.

The audience is invited to spend time with the data, and use the key to uncover the layers of stories that interwine and underpin the process and outcomes of my manifesto. Then the audience may create their own meaningful data illustration using the kit provided.
User Experience Design:
As part of the Manifesto, I created a kit to create your own meaningful data visualisation. Pictured below is a mini workshop I ran to test the experience.
